First of all, happy belated birthday to myself.
Hahas, i know, i sound like some emo shit wishing himself happy birthday.
But this could possibly and hopefully be the only platform i could vent out watever i want, possibly and hopefully not seen by anyone else, other than myself.

I shall decrease the font size, in case someone is patient enough to continue reading!!

So, ystd was my birthday.
For other ppl, birthdays are special, enjoyable and shld not be forgotten.
For ppl having their birthday, some are very excited, some panic cos of this tradition called "birthday bash".
The rest feels the same as me, it's just yet another day out of 365/366. Nothing big to me.
But the thing is, sometimes, uu have friends who takes uur birthday more seriously than uu uurself, and some will insist to either, hold a big/ small celebration in schl/outside, have a great feast with family/friends, or simply meet up with besties for some HTHT.
But for me, it's abit different. I'm fine with anything, just on one condition.
If uu want to celebrate my brithday for me, pls make sure uu got a plan, and it doesnt lose to the one we had for previous years.
Although i only had friends celebrating birthday for me from 2010.

I do appreciate my friends making out time to meet me for my birthday, although i wasnt the one who asked for that.
The thing is, not only do i not have mood ystd, i didnt want to even think about my birthday, for various reasons:
Less than 10 classmates turned up for class ystd.
1500 words least proposal to be submitted the next day, latest by friday.
Discussion for Proposal's details at 9pm, still outside at 8pm plus.
Photos for assignment not taken, presenting the next day.
Besties came, settling own things, although it might be important to them.
Nvr have my dinner before meeting them.
Nvr have my dinner after leaving them.
Had a tiff with mom.

But i decided to overlook all these, by pretending that ystd was only another normal day, no birthday, nothing.
That actually made me feel a little better inside. Just abit. But abit was actually all i needed sometimes, and at that point of time.

So, i decided to change each sentence to:
At least some of my classmates came, despite having only 1 module that is useful, the other is just for consultation.
Proposal is halfway done.
There was free wireles access outside.
I could get them from Google, wat my friends told me.
They still rmbs my birthday.
I had some food which my grandma insisted me on having before leaving her house.
She still rmbs my birthday, even bought me a cake..

Sounds much better, right?
I personally think so too. Hahas.
But the main reason for being moodless ystd is actually,
having a vast difference between this year and last year's celebration for me. i dont think i'm the only one who knows why.

Hence, i'd sincerely hope for this Valentine's to be a success, be it ForeverLove or ForeverFriends. ~~or come to the worst, ForeverAline.~~
And one last thing before i end this post,
and that is to make one of the 3 wishes.

0kay, there shall not be titles for my posts anymore, unless neccessary.
juz spamming random things, updates bout my recent life and all, although i noe there're no real readers of this blog, but nvm! (;

           Trying to get on wif life, getting myself used to this new leash of life.
Mon tues fri lesson ends at evening, wed thurs ends at 3plus plus, reach home also sian alrdy.

               Plus, schl food mostly ex, oni fc 3,6 and koufu food rrr affordable, der rest, except Mac which der meals rrr sold at lower price than compared to market price, rrr all 4 or 5 dollars and above.
So i've planned, to 1stly calculate my average weekly expenditure, starting from next week, which includes money for meals(doesnt include breakfast which i will hef it at home, & sometimes i skip lunch oops), transport & misc leisure activities like kbox/pool/hang out wif friends etc etc etc.

                      If let's say, one day, for lunch & dinner i spend bout 10 dollars, & if i top up my ezlink( i might be considering on getting concession pass soon) bout once a week, & if i dont go out on sundays, den i nid bout 60 dollars per week. plus monthly phone bill of bout 40plus say 50, 1 month i will nid bout 300 dollars. So, if i work once a week, if evening shift i can earn bout 50 dollars, at this rate my savings will probably be depleted soon. veryveryverysoon.
        So i will rlly nid to work morning shifts once a week, or alternatively i can also work for 2 evening shifts for both days of der weekend, but dat will deprive me of my revision time, which i tend to waste during weekdays, be it at home or after lessons in schl. and working for 2 days of weekends also mean no life.

     It's either i dont hef sufficient money & nid to get from mom(which i seriously dont intend to), or i get bout 100 dollars and slowly accumulate my savings, which i can use to buy new clothes etc etc etc. In der long run, i will be able to do things i wan, e.g. take up piano lessons, learn swimming, etc etc etc, der agenda list nvr ends!!!

        also, rlly hope i can get into one of der cca i signed up for, dragonboat(which many said those who cant swim rrr not accepted, & i haven received any email from them, damn damn.), piano ensemble(which i freaking missed der interview. must go for it tmr, plus audition next week, must practise!!), & dance(which has audition, too, at 5.30pm, on der day wen my Gen Ed class's gngg for a field trip until 5.30pm, where we were told dat at dat time we'll oni be at expo. DIE DIE.) hmm, all der best la!!!

Not struggling wif course module syllabuses but, i nid a firmer timetable to replace der slightly slacky one i'm following now. and lately, i found out dat i'm beginning to forget, which can hef a 2-sided meaning. but dat didnt led to losing of touch, shldnt be. maybe it's der new environment i guess. der more i look back, der more i will miss der old times i realised. there is no solution to it, its up to me. move on man.

So yeaps, dat's bout all, for now. schl, cca, maybe some outings, etc etc etc. mood swings, not for me. but feeling vexed sometimes is inevitable, for various reasons. gna rlly buck up and study hard Kelvin Wong!!! jiayous!!! (((((((((((((;

yeaps, poly term juz started ystd, and i was absent from der Orientation though, fortunately
there wasnt much important things done den.
        everything's gngg to be back to der usual style and routines soon, i think.
wake up eat gggo schl eat gggo home eat sliip. homework and assignments rrr substituted by practicals.
           well, maybe abit of work at ritz for some Saturdays if possible. plus friend's birfdays and group work.

   rlly missed those days, especially wif my sec schl friends, as mentioned in my previous post.

    now, one by one, der cycle continues as they become more and more attached to their new poly friends who they're gngg to spend 3 years wif and slowly lose contact wif their sec friends who they spent 4 years wif,
     (oni 2 years or less of friendship for mii cos yea, i transferred schl twice den.)
        ... exactly like how we lost our contact wif primary schl friends who we spent 6 years wif eventually
after getting enrolled into sec schl.
    (oni 4 years or less of friendship for mii, again cos yes. i transferred schl once den. sianzz.)

is this something dat happens to all teens of our age? is it rlly necessary? or rather, rrr we able to even reverse it or do anything to it. instead of letting der contact to be lost so naturally and unnoticeably...
   okay, my oni hope is my close friends, those who always used to hang out wif, my granddaughters and
best buddies, hope dat we'll all hef time to gggo out some day. some day.

At A Glance..

suddenly juz feel like posting
to vent some emotions..
i recall der days we all had in schl,
gngg to schl tgt wif my granddaughters,
doing work and enjoying at der same time in class in prep for Os and prelims,
den after Os everyone started relishing, finding part times, gngg overseas etc etc etc.
some tgt wif their friends, some wif family members, some solo.
den came christmas, where i spent der nite tonning over at my friend's house,
watching movies, until daybreak, until many of us cant tahan and drop dead to sliip.
tagging behind were trances of year 2010, and leads of new life from 2011.
having worked for a month by den, i had a sense of accomplishment wen i stared to der
firework-filled sky, which gives both mesmerising and confusing scene,
juz like how i had been feeling all der while.
after receiving my Os results, came der troublesome procedures for choosing our next insitutions.
den after comfirmation of our slots in respective institutions, came der even more troublesome
administrative procedures.
i was like compromising between work and this nonsense at der same time.
but wat made me hold on long enough was support from my dear friends, who i spent most of my time wif,
birthdays, new year, christmas, valentines, and those plain weekends and days wifout work.
no use loooking back at der past now,
cos its not der past dat led uu to der present,
its UU uurself who pulled thru all der way to where uu rrr now.
childish pri schl days, friend uu dont friend uu, stare here stare there,
vandalising toilet using wet toilet papers, boring morning silent reading sessions,
brainwashing assemblys, weird excursions, hanging around neighbourhoods after schl in schl u,
and of cos, sec schl days, where we 1st had difficulties and qualms bout learning der damn schl song,
national day songs etc etc etc, den came der sec 2 streaming, where everyone of us chiong like siao, some satisfied and some disappointed after noeing their results.
den starting sec 3, it was time for guys' pants to get longer, and dunno why also, girls' skirt started getting shorter and shorter, inversely proportional to guys' pants' length. weird.
den alright, teachers started spamming 10 years' series worksheet and other schls' papers unknowingly,
and we also do them blindly lol lol, so number of incorrect answers were almost proportional to der number of qns. hahas.
laughs. those were der days wen we can still squeeze out a grin. nowadays, we dun seem to even hef abit of dat vitality in der past to smile. Jc students receiving projects and work like Mypaper being given out everyday, except they still hef to chiong during der weekends while Mypaper is not given out during weekends.
students w8ting for poly to start, chiong work, chiong chiong chiong, get pay, not enough, find another part time, chiong 2 part times, chiong chiong somemore, until they dont even noe they rrr collapsing, like Japan being unaware of der earthquake which juz came, dat led to der tsunami. der difference is dat, one is cos of shortage of water, which is very important, while der other has water overflowing. lame.
lame. we used to use this word very frequently, other than LOL, hahas, oorh, hehe, hmm, la, lor, lehh, eh.
time for a change i think, be4 this world is rlly coming to an end. well, i dont think we'll and hef time to prepare ourselves for dat. so lets juz face it, although we cant rlly do much bout it. treasure der time we're having now, make der most out of it, move on!

Happy birfday to myself yea!!

hmm.. some good and bad news..
i think i say der good ones 1st, since my birfday juz passed..
i had lots of fun ystd, wif all of my awesome friends,
some of them acquaintace, some of them became close friends wif me
within a few months after Os but still,
they rrr Awesome . thnks ppl.

oh and, i finally got a chance to sing wif my dearest granddaughters again!
although 1 oout of der 3 cant make it but still, i had lots of fun singing wif them
and my other friends,
der kind of enjoyment which i haven experienced for a long time alrdy!
if not for them there wouldnt be a Me riite now. seriously.
so thnks lots ppl!! rlly!!
and not forgetting my Awesome Mom too!! thnks for der Sakae treat!

okay i roughly gggo thru wat we did der whole day ystd,
although i noe i dun hef any readers or something but,
I Dun Care lor! hahas .

yups, 1st thing i did for der day was to collect my pay at Clarke Quay.
den, went for movies at Orchard Cineleisure, New Shaolin, if uu hef heard.
not bad, but not my typical taste of movie though.
thereafter i felt like gngg back home cos, i rlly dun hef feeling for celebrating my birfday,
cos im so used to feeling insignificant maybe? or is it cos of my Horoscope Star Sign?
arghghgh i dunno. nvm i dun wanna think so much anymore.

we move on.

den we decided to go back to amk and decide on wat to do, after i told my friends dat
if there's nothing to do den i would juz prefer gngg back home to sliip.
hahas. wat a big joke hor, sliiping at home on uur own birfday.
but to me, it seems so natural as it went thru my mind while i was contemplating bout it ystd.
okay nvm, in der end we went back to amk,
den
cos i was alrdy very full after swallowing 3 packets of popcorns in der movie theatre
thnks to junyuan james and jiamin (hahas!)
so i oni accompanied them to dine at Pizza Hut.
den came along der others from Yjc,
den den followed by an unsurprising-surprise birfday cake.. (PS, i bolded der un cos Jame's acting skills sucks!! hahas!)
and after taking a group photo,

i left hurriedly and hastily,
to meet my mom.

as mentioned, i had Sakae for dinner,
den met up wif jy and james to sing,
where my 2 out of 3 granddaughters den found their way to der place.
had a rllllllllllllllllllllllly fun and great time wif them!! nvr sang my heart out for a looooooooooooong time alrdy.
especially wif them.

as we overshot 12am, we realised we got no more buses/trains to go back home,
other than taxi which is super ex around dat time and also cos one cab cant fit all of us in,
so we walk and chatted as we made it to my granddaughter's house by 2plus in der morning.
and after waking up, there came der hard goodbyes..

honestly speaking,
i dunno why but, i dun hef der feeling of anxiety like others,
which even der cleaverest student in der schl will hef,
wen receiving results.
and as for choosing btwn JC or Poly, well to me,
it depends on my aggregate so dats why i dun think so much.
i was oni abit worried for my English, of cos, cos if i fail dat den OMGosh ler.
and also Sciences, which i am always weak at, but i still like Bio very much!

i was aiming to enter Biotech, any poly will do, either Np Sp Tp or Nyp but,
sadly i got into none. fortunately i got into ym 6th choice,
where thereafter i appealed to enter my 5th choice, which attempt had failed.
hmm .

as for work,
im still gngg to take up part timr job for er time being, until poly starts.
if not walao, der distance fare is hor, walao!!! buay tahan sio! walao!!!
i juz typed walao three times lols.

but one important thing to take note :
DUN TIRED UURSELF OUT .

cos for der time being i oni work until 10plus
or maybe 11plus if i work OT.
my opinion is, if possible,
change uur time slots to an earlier one,
so uu wont hef to rush to catch der last train or bus back home,
which is very risky for some who live
farrrr farrr from their workplaces .

try not to ggo home too late, especially girls

ganging up to target at a particular friend for revenge for der bad things he/she had done to them,
not having contact wif a certain or certain friends who uu hef been in close contact wif but slowly having lesser and lesser cotact cos of new friends made,
over-trusting friends and getting betrayed, etc
....
i dun deny dat, i also encounter some of these problems stated above..
but der qn is, HOW TO RESOLVE??
haizz.. guess i'll hef to leave this qn idling for der meantime,
cos i dun rlly hef mood for anything now...
its like, having to work so hard for der 1st few papers
during der 1st few weeks,

I got inspired cos of some incident I encountered 2dae.

I was in coffeeshop
juz found my mom & I a vacant table
I sat down, my mom went to order food

den came this lady
looks like 20++ yrs old
but her thick coat of cosmetics gave her away
she's perhaps 35-40++ bahh
Watever.
wat she did was,
she juz like ~~fcuking~~ laid her ~~ass~~
on, like 1 of the 3 seats around the table.

According to LOGIC, or even ~~common sense~~
doubt she hef any lahh,
okay nvm, I gif uu one problem sum.
Qn: There are 3 seats available.
        UU juz sat down on one of those damn seats,
        & obviously another seat's reserved for someone
        cos uu are sitting down &
        w8ting for d@ person who went to order food.

        den a ~~bitch~~ stalked 1 seat;
        apparently she's also w8ting for someone to order food for her
        who's ignorant of the fact d@
        there's like oni 3 seats round der table.

So, according to simple calculations,
which even a >3 yrs old kid can do,
either side's obviously short of 1 seat.
So did she even realize she had ~~miscalculated~~ ?
or she juz simply bo chap one??? (means act one dun care lahh)

Den der worst part came
after my mom & der ~~bitch~~'s darling came back.
my mom's shocked.
& der ~~bitch~~'s darling too.
both women were angry.
cos one side's gotta back out & find a new table.
& duhh,
I was der one who occupied der vacant table 1st lehh,
so it's obvious they hef to get lost.
but the moment when her darling pulled her outta her seat
so d@ they could find a new one,
she went bonkers.
my mom's anger subsided very soon.
good thing was, her darling came back seconds later,
apologizing to us,
even though I think he dun even noe the situation.
nice guys he is. haha. pity him lor~~~

Okay, moral of der story,
to everyone on Earth, uu me everybody,
Virtue,
is accompanied by some respect uu gif to others & uurself
plus a little iniative uu can take.

3 SYF CENTAL JUDGING AWARDS ACCLAIMED!!!WE TEAR DOWN THE WHOLEWHOLE INDOOR STADIUM YEAH;DDDD
this isn't a joke.
we really won the whole competition
this is deyi band's 2nd consecutive time winning
all the top 3 awards for SYF Central Judging
pity I wasn't in 08's show
but I can seriously tell uu
that point of time when the result was announced
by the emcee,
I was feeling damn shiok &
went around hugging my dearest band mates
especially those in my TUBA section
who have worked hard together
as a band, section,
for this award-winning show in 2010.

juz to refresh uur memory & for benefit of those who couldn't be there for the show~~~

juz hope my 2 sec 3s from tuba section will stay on
in tuba section for next year's symphonic SYF...T.T I'll miss uu guys badly man!!!
& for my 2 sec 2s & SL Oka Alan, all the best for SYF 2012 & studies!!!tuba section's future's in uur hands!!!:P
rmb this: there's time to be serious & times to play around.

I never really wondered how close WE are
to the most important Saturday band practise WE have to attend
until there's only like less than a week
& until I come to realize how much time I have left
with my amazing & dearest TUBA section members
having been thru so much
even though it's juz noe-ing u guys for a year & 3months++
seriously I must say that I will miss band so much
I almost choke on my tears while thinking of
the times we had tgt
good times, bad times.
didn't noe that it can be so nostalgic
and sentimental for someone like me
who dun normally cry

I have been observing for a period alrdy
& also came to noe dat
we seemed to be further and further away
now almost apart in two
complete different worlds.
I gotta admit I'm being random sometimes
& I noe dat it's lame to you
for certain things I did
but all I wanted is for you to be happy
Seeing you with your bright and
spirit-lifting smile simply lights up my day
& not asking for anything in return,

to all women out there who are either working hard

or those who are doing housechores spontaneously,
you must have been tired and 'worn-out' after so many years
of dedication of your youth to your family
so much so that your family is ensured of
a environment where they can live their lives with no worries

went for NanYang Poly open-house.
quite boring though
didn't went to check out the health science department
which I'm pretty interested in.
we're taken on guided tour arond the campus
& popped into the School of Chemistry and Life Science,
& School of Businnes Management.
saw lot's of students from other schools too
including my ex-school Yishun Sec
where I saw my B.ball senior, who I did managed to greet,
& Marsiling Sec, Bowen Sec, Chung Cheng High, Presbyterian High
& some other schools which I can't identify.

back from strenous 5D4N band camp,
as usual,
head's skin tone differs from dat of mii body
missed having to crack my group members' & my head
to think of group cheers
still rmb all 12 Gemini~~zers~~ by heart

and the noisiest of them all,

spent the whole of yesterday resting and slacking off
den did some Bio revision today
but eventually I dozed off
& woke up hours later realizing I have wasted half a day's time
so den I decided to clean my shoes, socks, & gloves.
tom I will be going to my grandma's house
to give her a hand on making her specialty,
Tang Yuan (汤圆）, which is practically flour rolled into ball
and tossed into boiling water,
for the occasion called Dong Zhi （冬至），
or in other words, the end of winter season

oh and one more thing
I managed to get rid off dat irrtant
stuck in my MP5's camera's lens
scary man
I even injured my nails while trying to open dat tight plastic cover.

yesterday's class outing was a memorable one
except dat I was one of those who dunno how 2 swim
& was struggling 2 keep my foot stuck 2 the seabed
so dat I won't fall & drown |P
didn't get 2 play beach volleyball on the nets
but in the sea instead, haha

drank couple of mouthfuls of seawater
which is unevitably salty plus some sandy contents in it
Jinxuan, Zexuan, Minyong & Kelvin Goh tried teaching me
the basics of swimming
but I can't even get the hang of it'"-Q-
guess I really nid 2 learn swimming in pools :O

yesterday's COE Launch was a big success.
there were some hiccups here & there,
but overall everything went on smoothly
w/out much delay.

rite b4 the start of 1st pre-launch item,
which is the symphonic performance
I was actually feeling quite nervous
cos it's my 1st time playing music
for DSB.
den ppl helping S.band went up
2 band room rite after dat
to change into our M.band uniform.
It almost scared me outta my wits
when I couldn't find my beret, glove & glove pad.
when the launch wa officially over,
my two seniors, Vincent & Yi An,
2gether w/ JiaXing, RenZheng, Branda & Grace,
wet 2 AMK foodcourt to hef lunch 2gether.
SeowTing also came after dat.

after the meal,
we went to buy bubble tea,

bad luck seemed to have
drifted further & further away from me
unexpectedly.

making new fwens can be so simple

on the way home
after lunch with Alan, Jackson, Niven & Shin Rong,
while w8ting 4 MRT to arrive in 3 mins' time,
Filipino guy went up to me
asked me how to get to Bukit Batok.
intially I juz gave him a simple ans
:'It's the direction to Jurong East'
and pointed to the direction @ the same time.

den after boarding the train
he double-confirmed with me number of stations
to his destination
den I gave him a resassured answer.
after dat I took out my story book
& started reading
but not long after dat,
he broke the silence
and gave me a tap on my shoulder
signalling for me to sit down beside him
on the two vacant seats
after dat I continue reading my book.

but soon he talked to me again
asking me about my age,schl,blablabla
not very private info lah
but yet I tort it was quite weird of him though
den he still shared with me about
his countrie's culture
wat palawan beach ,8 wonders of the world,blablabla
den i told him about John,
whose also in Deyi band, & is a Filipino

den here comes the 'sadded' case
i woke up & found out dat
it was already 6.45am
so i rushed through my breakfast
& got dressed swiftly
den left home for school
lucky enough 2 catch a bus
after getting downstairs
den MRT came 3 mins later
after i alighted from bus

finally reached AMK
but was already 7.35am
confirm pl+s chope late ler
but nvrtheless,
i ran all the way
until i reached school
from AMk station
but right from the start
i knew i was gonna be late

haven have time 2 revise 4
emaths trigo test todae
but overall i thought dat
the qns are generally easy
but not to the extent
where i could get full marks
well gd luck bah
pray dat i wont have
any calculation errors:)

doing filling 4 whole dae
for chem,phy,EL,MT
AM,Emath,etc
but still able to hand up
by end of the day
den went 4 sec 2 camp briefing

was a long-winded one

something unpleasant and dangerous happened 2 me today
when i was on the way 2 school
on the MRT
i was leaning against glass panel and resting my back
den i was like trying to yawn cos lack of O2 in the train
but failed to do so
so my brain lacked O2

soon i suffered from quite a severe blackout
which apparently wasn't black but white dat my vision shows
and it was somewhat a similar sensation to the blackout i had last year
after a basketball match in the morning
when i attened morning assembly
which i fainted in the end as my body cant restore )2 in my tao kak

den i try to shake it off
when i heard 'din-dong,ang mo kio'
being broadcasted in the carriage
i recovered by a little percentage
den squeeze my way outta the train
den went straight to the lift
and catch my breath
which my mother told me dat it wasnt the rite way
to deal with cases like this

barden i didnt think much
and strolled my way to school
and oni to find out dat
my entire uniform was drenched with my cold sweat
which was secrete without me paying any attention to it

my body conditions returned to normal by PE lesson
but i was still shaken
and nid to stop
and catch my breath from time to time
it was demoralising
as i think back @ the situation
but i juz pray dat this wont happen to me again

for the horror movie 'Sleeping with the Dead'(枕边凶灵）
sound scary but not exactly

today is national day celebration @ our school
damn boring man
i think thats why the attendance was so bad today
all the UG CCAs had a parade together
quite spectacular actually
but the day in school ended with sad note
as mdm normila gave us an extra presentation on
teen involving in crimes like thefting and drug abusing, etc.
then when we were dismissed
all students left school 'meteorically'
is that how the word should be used?

but it was not exactly a really bad day
as i met a couple of classmates from my ex-schools
in MCD and MRT
still pretty excited for the moment @ 8.22 pm when all singapore citizens
rise and recite our pledge
still looking forward to it

Deyi 'LIVE!' Operation Camp (Day Two)

NONE of the boys slept well last night, 'cos of some ppl who did not spare thought for others. One PM was alerted & ordered us to sleep till 0630 when lights will be on again. Most of us were mentally and physically-prepared for upcoming activities to be conducted under the scorching hot sun.We cleaned up the the inside of & areas around the dorm, then carried on with a few hundred SUCCESS CLAPS ,before having breakfast at the camp shed .

   The meal consist of Dark Carrot Cake with a Nugget packed in plastic container. We were also given a Fruit Bar & packet of OREGANO TOMATO BEAN STEW CHICKEN SAUSAGE each. (Refer to picture above)

THEN the all the companies carried on with the missions with the map & clues given. Our first stop was HOLY LAND. We finished the challenge at the blink of an eye. Then IDENTITY TAG was passed to another trooper from each platoon, to empahasize on equal opportunities given to pick up role as leader. Then we carried on with the missions with our next clue. We sang cheers along the way till, with our spirit reaching its climax, till we've reached the next checkpoint.

WE reached our next station & found the clue. Then one of our classmate was reported injured & needed to be attended to immediately. The whole company panicked & some troopers volunteered to carry the casualty back to base camp. It was only later when we found out that it was a hoax which was implemented to test our reaction when facing a member's injuries or setbacks.We were proud to say that our class had became more & more united and cared for one another. It's a pity some of our classmates were absent from this camp. . .

WE were fortunate to be under the shelter at that point of time, as the rain rushed in a while later. Soon all the companies were back at the base camp & were given a task each, which is to fix back the pieces of papers with our school's core values: DEDICATION, DILIGENCE, DETERMINATON & DISCIPLINE, printed on each sheet. Then we went for VICTORY MARCH around the neighbouring areas and then head back to the base camp for our dinner, followed by a dry run for CO Evening performance item .

  AFTER that, all the troopers bathed & had a final rehearsal for our performance item .Then all the companies head for the camp shed & carried on with the performances. Our company wore our HOT PINK class tee & our class was the 2nd to perform. It was quite a SUCCESS.

  THEN PM Ridtz announced that LIGHTS OFF will be @ 12mn. Our PMs then gave us the last debrief before supper. We were told that four troopers of our company went for secret mission, which is to hold up a piece of paper with 'FOCUS ON YOUR OUTCOME' written on it, for an hour without resting their hands. Our PM also share their feelings for taking our class for this camp. Then we bid our last farewell to the BULLFROGS & got ourselves snugged in our stiff beds & sleep.

Deyi 'LIVE!' Operation Camp (Intro & Day One)

I looked forward to the 3-day camp,as I had never went for a camp for full-three days
+Sec One=No camp organized
+Sec Two(different school)=Joined for one-&-a-half day , then left for competition.
So this year is a very special year for me , as I had transferred to another school (again) and this is a great opportunity for me to get to know more about my classmates and learn how to work together with them as a TEAM (Together Everyone Achieve More) .

ON the first day of the camp , we got to know our PMs (Platoon Mentors) Cheryl & Azree , before leaving for the camp site @ choa chu kang,all the Sec three students were informed to assemble at the hall for a 1/2 hour briefing .

Then a video was shown to let us know briefly what to expect at the Military camp . Our PMs were therefore introduced to us and we were given a booklet each , where it signifies our 'lives' throughout the camp .

Should we somehow lost or torned the booklet , we will be labelled as 'dead' in the camp .

WE got to learnt a new cheer on the bus , on the way to the camp site . An hour later or so , all the sec threes arrived @ SVF (Singapore Vision Farm) and it is situated a few metres away from NKF . That's right , you haven't seen it wrongly . NKF stands for Nippon Koi Farm .

SOON we have our first meal at the base camp shed . Then we carried out series of physical activities around different areas of the camp site . One of it was the Slippery Slope . I accidentally volunteered to attempt that challenge first .

Oh , almost forgot . We were told not to say out the word 'T.R.Y' in any form , or the whole company (class) must complete a certain number of 'Success Claps' depending on the number of times it is said or number of people saying it .

OOPS,I got carried away.A rope is tied to the fence about a hundred metre away and laid down on a large plastic sheet which detergent was constantly being poured on it to bring up the difficulty level of the challenge.I cheered for every classmate who ATTEMPTED the challenge even though the hardest part was about avoiding yourself from the 'soap attack' from the gamemaster (PM) .

We then requested for PM Cheryl to ATTEMPT the slope too , & she did it.The whole class cheered proudly with enthusiasm like never before and the sense of accomplishment was great , although all of us were all-soaked and dampened .

ANOTHER station I want to share was the SECRET MISSION . Our company skipped the 'MUD FIELD' station and Platoon 15 lead by PM Azree went to the station first , while Platoon 16 went to the Slipper Slope , as mentioned earlier . When it's our turn to ATTEMPT the SECRET MISSION,we were told to FOCUS ON YOUR GOAL.All of us completed it without getting wet . I learnt to be conscious of my own goal and manage distractions at the same time .

THEN we had BMT (Basic Military Training) for rest of the time in preparation for 'POP'
(Passing Out Parade) . Then there was a heavy downpour but fortunately we were all under the shelter then . We then had dinner and guess what we all saw.

A DOUBLE RAINBOW . It was a spectacular scene and the rainbows actually lasted about an hour or so before they were covered by the dark clouds and eventually disappeared .

Then everyone bathed and we had a final rehearse for POP @ the camp shed . At the actual parade ,I felt part of my class & school and united as one for the first time , after I joined this school for less than two months (after the camp will be two months) .

Lights were out at 2230 after debrief by respective PM of all companies .

IT was quite a tiring , yet meaningful day for EVERYONE .
